The NAIA has announced the 2012 Men's and Women's Soccer All-Americans, and 13 GSAC athletes were honored.

The All-GSAC Men's and Women's Soccer Teams have been announced. Jordan Davidson of Vanguard is the GSAC Women's Soccer Player of the Year and Christian Ramirez of Concordia is the GSAC Men's Soccer Player of the Year. Davidson led the conference with 18 goals and 46 points, and tied for second with 10 assists. Ramirez led the GSAC with 23 goals and 52 points. Coaches of the conference champion teams were selected as the GSAC Coaches of the Year, Randy Dodge of Vanguard for the women and Chris Gould of Concordia for the men. Concordia men's soccer and Vanguard women's soccer are both the No. 3-seeded team in their respective NAIA Championship Tournaments, after winning their Opening Round games on November 17.

Over 75 conference athletes earned GSAC Scholar-Athlete honors in the fall sports of men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.

[Soccer] Soccer Modified Ratings Percentage Index Released

The first official 2012 NAIA Men's and Women's Soccer Modified Ratings Percentage Index (MRPI) has been released, announced by the national office September 26. In men's soccer, Concordia is the highest ranked GSAC team with a third place showing and Biola is 29th. In women's soccer, 4 teams are in the top 30 with Westmont leading the way in 11th place, followed by Concordia at 15th, Vanguard at 16th, and The Master's at 29th.

The inaugural GSAC Players of the Week for 2012-13 are Brooke Marino of Concordia for Volleyball, Matthew Howard of Hope International for men's soccer offensive player, and Jessica Long of The Master's for women's soccer offensive player.

The NAIA preseason coaches' polls have been released for men's and women's soccer. The GSAC has 4 teams ranked in the top 25 and another 3 receiving votes. The GSAC is led by Westmont at No. 9 for the women and Biola at No. 14 for the men, followed by Concordia at No. 18 in both men's and women's soccer.
