SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYERSophomore ~ 5-8 ~ Forward ~ Walnut, California Sophomore Theresa Broad scored No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific's first 2 goals in a 3-0 shutout over Westmont, then added an insurance goal in a 2-0 win over California Baptist. Broad has scored in each of Azusa Pacific's 4 GSAC contests this season, with 6 of her 8 goals on the season coming in conference play. SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYERJILL COLFER-MARTINSON ~ Azusa Pacific University Senior ~ 5-9 ~ Goalkeeper ~ Sacramento, California Senior Jill Colfer-Martinson posted back-to-back shutouts over Westmont and California Baptist, helping lift the NAIA's No. 2-ranked Azusa Pacific into sole possession of first place in the GSAC standings. Colfer-Martinson, who owns the Cougar career record for shutouts with 40, has blanked 3 straight opponents and now has 6 shutouts on the season. With Colfer-Martinson in goal, Azusa Pacific has shut out 7 straight opponents at home, part of a 30-game home unbeaten streak. PLAYERPABLO CAMPOS ~Fresno Pacific University Junior ~ 6-3 ~ Striker ~ Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Junior striker Pablo Campos scored 3 goals and 2 assists as No. 10-ranked Fresno Pacific won both of its GSAC games last week. He scored the lone goal in the win at Biola. Then in the victory against San Diego Christian, he scored the first 2 goals in less than 10 minutes, and assisted on 2 others. MEN'S

Herrera stopped all 11 shots on goal in 180 minutes of play. Herrera was chosen as the NAIA Region II Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. SETTERKAYLA VAN DUYN Senior ~ 5-10 ~ Setter ~ Ripon, California Senior setter Kayla Van Duyn had 98 assists (14.0 a/g), 16 digs (2.3 d/g), 2 kills and 2 aces as No. 2-ranked California Baptist won both of its matches against ranked GSAC teams last week. She recorded 49 assists in the 4-game win at No. 16 Vanguard and another 49 assists in the 3-game victory over No. 4 Biola. Van Duyn was chosen as the NAIA Region II Volleyball Setter of the Week. LIBEROKATRINA CLARK ~ California Baptist University Junior ~ 5-3 ~ Libero ~ Riverside, California Junior libero for California Baptist, Katrina Clark tallied 36 digs (5.1 d/g) against 2 top-25 NAIA teams, including a sweep of No. 4-ranked Biola. For the week, she had a serve reception percentage of 1.000 with no errors in 66 attempts and a .931 serving percentage with 2 aces. Clark was selected as the NAIA Region II Volleyball LIbero of the Week.
