Fullerton, CA -- Down by as many 16 points, Hope International pulled off the comeback in Darling Pavilion as they beat Westmont 72-68 on Saturday.  Westmont's Daniel Carlin was the first half star as 16 of his 18 points came in the first 20 minutes while senior Kenny Morgan was the second half star pouring in 15 of his 23 points after the break.

Fullerton, CA -- Hope International ended a four game slide by knocking off No. 16 Westmont, 70-63 on Saturday.  After building as large as a 17-point lead, the Royals held off a furious comeback bid from the Warriors who climbed within four points in the final minute.  Hope International allowed 32 points to Westmont's Kristin Karr but junior Alexis Perry guided HIU to the win with 19 points and 9 rebounds.

Costa Mesa, Calif. – The Lions (13-8, 5-3) knocked off the 12th ranked Concordia Eagles (17-4, 6-2)  69-57 in front of a standing room only crowd in The Pit. Vanguard was led by a monster day from Zach Allmon (SO/San Luis Obispo, CA) slamming his way to 13 points and 15 rebounds. DeAngelo Jones (SR/Cheney, WA) went 7-7 from the charity stripe for 16 points and Chris Gorman (SR/Oceanside, CA) posted 16 points, seven assists and two steals while shooting 90% from the free throw line.

Zach Allmon
Vanguard University
Zach Allmon recorded a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds as Vanguard upset No. 12 Concordia, 69-57. The sophomore forward shot 6-for-8 (.750) from the field. Allmon had an emphatic dunk over Ty Armstrong to seal the win for Vanguard. Allmon is currently in the top-10 in the GSAC in both offensive, defensive and total rebounding.

Janis Peterson
Concordia University
Janis Peterson led the No. 9 Eagles as they defeated No. 11 Vanguard 88-83 in overtime in the NAIA Game of the Week. The senior guard scored 32 points as the Eagles won in The Pit for the first time since 2001. She was 12-of-20 (.600) from the field and 7-for-10 at the line. She also added seven rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and two steals. Currently, Peterson leads the GSAC in scoring and is second in the nation at 22.5 points per game. This is her second GSAC Player of the Week honor this season.
