JESSICA RICHTER ~ Vanguard University
Senior ~ 5-10 ~ Guard ~ Oregon City, Oregon
Senior Jessica Richter averaged 33.5 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, and 1.5 assists as No. 2-ranked Vanguard split its games at the Hawaii Tournament last week.  For the week, she was 27-for-43 (.628) from the field, including 5-for-11 (.455) from 3-point range, and 8-for-11 (.727) at the line.  In the win against No. 22 Eastern Oregon, she had 26 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals.  Richter scored 31 of her 41 points in the second half of the loss to No. 4 Lee TN, tying her own school record for points in a single game, and completed the double-double with 12 rebounds.

Senior ~ 6-0 ~ Guard/Forward ~ Placentia, California
Senior Melissa Cook averaged 21 points and 9 rebounds as No. 3-ranked Vanguard won both of its conference games last week.  For the week, she made 12-for-23 (.522) shots from the field, including 6-for-11 (.545) from 3-point range. She was also 12-for-13 (.923) at the line. In the win over Concordia, Cook recorded a double-double, with 21 points and 10 rebounds, as well as 2 assists and 2 steals.  In the victory at Westmont, she had 21 points and 8 rebounds.

Sophomore ~ 6-3 ~ Forward ~ Surprise, Arizona

In a pair of wins against GSAC opponents, No. 7-ranked Point Loma Nazarene sophomore Colleen Planeta scored 30 points, pulled down 17 rebounds, blocked 12 shots, had 4 steals, and dished out 3 assists.  For the week, she shot 14-for-23 (.609) from the field and 2-for-3 at the line.  In the win at Concordia, Planeta tallied 14 points, 7 rebounds, 6 blocks, 3 assists, and 2 steals.  In the victory against Westmont, she recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, as well as another 6 blocks and 2 steals, helping Point Loma Nazarene rally from a 14-point deficit.

SARAH LEATHERS ~ Azusa Pacific University
Senior ~ 5-4 ~ Guard ~ Cypress, California

Senior point guard Sarah Leathers recorded 42 points (21 ppg), 12 assists (6 apg), and 6 rebounds (3 rpg) as No. 7-ranked Azusa Pacific won both of its GSAC games against NAIA Top 20-ranked teams.  For the week, she shot 13-for-29 (.448) from the field, including 11-for-20 (.550) from the 3-point arc, and 5-for-6 (.833) at the line.  Leathers scored a career-high 30 points, with a career-high 7 3-pointers, and dished out 7 assists in the win over No. 10-ranked The Master's.  In the road win at California Baptist, she tallied 12 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and a steal.  The Cougars lead the NAIA in wins over Top 25 opponents with 8 victories in these games.

Senior ~ 5-10 ~ Guard ~ Oregon City, Oregon

Senior guard Jessica Richter notched a pair of double-doubles averaging 26.5 points and 13.0 rebounds as No. 4-ranked Vanguard won both of its conference games last week and remains tied for first place in the GSAC.  For the week, she shot 20-for-36 (.556) from the field and 12-for-18 (.667) at the line and also had 9 steals and 7 assists.  In the 1-point win against Hope International, she had 21 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals.  Then in the strong win at Fresno Pacific, Richter tallied 32 points, 13 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 assists.  Richter was named the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

SARAH BOYD ~ Vanguard University
Freshman ~ 5-4 ~ Guard ~ Oregon City, Oregon

Freshman guard Sarah Boyd averaged 17 points, 5.5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals as No. 4-ranked Vanguard defeated both of its nationally-ranked GSAC opponents last week.  For the week, she shot 11-for-20 (.550) from the field, including 3-for-7 (.429) from 3-point range, and 9-for-10 (.900) at the free throw line.  In the win over No. 19 California Baptist, Boyd recorded 21 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals.  Then at No. 12-ranked The Master's, she had 13 points, 5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals.

COLLEEN PLANETA ~ Point Loma Nazarene University
Sophomore ~ 6-3 ~ Forward ~ Surprise, Arizona

Sophomore forward Colleen Planeta tallied 28 points, 10 rebounds, 8 blocks, and 2 steals as No. 3-ranked Point Loma Nazarene won both of its games last week against Top-20 ranked GSAC opponents.  For the week, Planeta shot 13-for-18 (.722) from the field and was 2-for-2 at the free throw line.  In the win at No. 12 California Baptist, she had 10 points, 5 blocks, and 4 rebounds.  In the win over No. 20 The Master's, Planeta recorded 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks.   Point Loma Nazarene currently has a 14-game winning streak and has not lost a conference game since the first GSAC game of the season.

Freshman ~ 5-9 ~ Guard ~ Norco, California

Freshman guard Brittani Philbrook registered 33 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists, 6 blocks, and 2 steals, as Hope International split its GSAC games last week.  For the week, she shot 12-for-25 (.480) from the field, including 5-for-11 (.455) from 3-point range, and 4-for-7 (.571) at the line.  In the 3-point loss at California Baptist, she recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and also dished out 7 assists.  In the upset of No. 15-ranked The Master's, Philbrook had 17 points, while shooting 4-for-5 from 3-point range, as well as 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, and 2 steals.
