      • Melissa Norman - Vanguard
      • Senior - 6-2 - Center - Elk Grove, Calif.
      • Melissa Norman averaged a double-double with 18.7 points and 14.3 rebounds and led Vanguard to a 3-0 record last week. For the week, the senior center shot 20-for-36 (.556) from the field and also tallied 12 blocks, six steals and four assists.

      • Vanguard has won 5 straight games and is on a roll behind the inside play of Melissa Norman. The senior center recorded two double-doubles with 18 points and 10 rebounds against William Jessup and 13 points and 14 rebounds against Menlo. For the week, she shot 12-for-21 (.571) from the field. Norman has led the team in rebounds, blocks, and points while playing without two starters including second team all american Samantha Doucette.

      • Sophomore - 5-4 - Guard - Inglewood, Calif.
      • White had two 20+ point outings and scored nearly half of Biola's 107 points in leading the team to a 1-1 road trip. She also averaged the third most rebounds on the team (5.5 RPG) and ended with a solid five steals (2.5 SPG).

      • Senior - 6-2 - Center - Elk Grove, Calif.
      • Norman continues to scorch the interior of the floor as Vanguard has won nine straight games. She is ranks 2nd in the country in offensive and defensive rebounds and is in the top 5 in scoring for the GSAC. She put up two monster rebound games and had 13 rebounds in one half at Biola. The 6'2" senior center average 17 points, 17 rebounds, and 2 blocks this week for the 10th ranked Lions.

      • Senior - 6-1 - Forward - Scottsdale, Ariz.
      • Madison Austin averaged 27.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists. 2.5 blocks, and 2 steals in two GSAC games last week. On Thursday, she helped the Firestorm end a six game slide as ACU beat William Jessup. On Saturday, she poured in a GSAC WBB season high of 37 points at Menlo. Despite an amazing effort from Austin, the Firestorm fell 81-77 at Menlo.

      • Norman averaged another double-double this week as the No. 9 Lions took care of business to keep them in the GSAC title hunt. She is dominating the NAIA leader boards ranking 2nd in offensive RPG, 4th in total rebounds, 7th in defensive RPG, and 13th in blocks. For the week the 6'2 senior center averaged 18.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block. She shot 57% from the field. This is Norman's 4th player of the week this season.

      • Samantha Doucette - Vanguard
      • Senior - 5-10 - Forward - Irvine, Calif.
      • Doucette proved why she is a reigning All-American by willing the Lions to two victories this week. She has had one of her best offensive weeks of the season despite each team trying to eliminate that aspect of her during the game and force her to be a passer. She played every single minute of both games. She had averaged of 22 points and 4.5 boards while shooting nearly 45% from the field.

      • Aysia Shellmire - Westmont
      • Junior - 6-0 - Forward - Burbank, Calif.
      • Shellmire led the No. 2 Warriors with a double-double (17 points and 12 rebounds) in a match-up against No. 10 The Master's. This win moved the Warriors to first place in the GSAC standings. Two days later, Shellmire picked up another double-double (27 points and 10 rebounds) against San Diego Christian. She was 12 for 16 from the floor which is a shooting percentage of 75.0. She had 37 percent of the Warriors' total points in this game. The junior averaged 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks for the week.
