      • Adijat Adams - Biola
      • Senior - 6-2 - Center - Inglewood, Calif.
      • Adijat Adams recorded double-doubles on back-to-back nights to lead Biola to a pair of non-conference wins last week. Adams scored 15 points and added 11 rebounds, four blocks and two assists as Biola beat Cal State San Marcos 61-42. The next night against William Jessup, she scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds, hitting 9-of-16 (.563) from the field, all in just 20 minutes of play. Adams currently ranks fifth in scoring (16.6 ppg), fourth in rebounding (9.4 rpg), and third in field goal percentage (.524) in the GSAC.

      • Junior - 5-6 - Guard - Laguna Hills, Calif.
      • Ashley Engeln had two huge double-doubles as the Eagles moved to 2-0 in the GSAC. For the week she shot 18-for-37 (.486) from the field, including 5-for-12 (.417) from three-point range. The junior guard scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds on the road against Arizona Christian. She collected her third straight double-double against Hope International, with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

      • Sophomore - 6-2 - Forward - Izmir, Turkey
      • Tugce Canitez led No. 11-ranked Westmont to a road victory at No. 1 Vanguard, with a double-double of 23 points and 16 rebounds, as well as 4 assists. The senior forward then put up 26 points and pulled down 20 points in the Warriors win over Hope International. For the week she shot 16-for-27 (.593) from the field, including a made 3-pointer, and 16-for-19 (.842) at the line. Canitez needs just 11 points to reach 1,000 career points midway through her second season in the NAIA. Canitez was selected as the NAIA Div. I Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

      • Nicole Ballestero had two very well-rounded performances for No. 3-ranked Vanguard which won both of its GSAC games last week. The junior guard scored a total of 45 points (22.5 ppg), grabbed 13 rebounds (6.5 rpg), dished out 10 assists and garnered 4 steals. For the week, she shot 16-for-30 (.533) from the field, including 4-for-9 (.444) from the arc, and 9-for-13 (.692) at the line.

      • Sophomore - 6-2 - Forward - Izmir, Turkey
      • Tugce Canitez recorded 60 points, 29 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists as No. 8-ranked Westmont won both of its GSAC games last week and remains undefeated in conference play. For the week, the senior forward shot 21-for-27 (.778) from the field, including 3-for-5 behind the arc, and 15-for-18 (.833) at the free throw line. In the win over Concordia, she scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. In the victory at San Diego Christian, Canitez's 36 points were the second highest single game performance of her career. Canitez leads the conference with 12 double-doubles, and ranks third in the NAIA in scoring (20.55 ppg) and seventh in rebounds (11.50 rpg). Canitez was named the NAIA Div. I Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season.

      • With two double-doubles, Tugce Canitez recorded her 11th and 12th games of the season with 20-plus points as Westmont won both its conference games last week and remains undefeated in conference play. For the week, she shot 19-for-37 (.514) from the field and 12-for-17 (.706) at the line. The senior led the Warriors to a critical win over No. 3 Vanguard for the second time this year, with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Then at Hope International, she scored 28 points and grabbed a career-high 22 rebounds. Canitez is second in the NAIA in scoring and leads the GSAC with 14 double-doubles. Canitez was named the NAIA Div. I Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and the third time this season.

      • Tugce Canitez scored 28 points in each game last week as No. 6-ranked Westmont remained undefeated in conference play and clinched at least a share of the GSAC regular season title. For the week, she shot 18-for-27 (.667) from the field, including 3-for-5 from three-point range, and 17-for-21 (.810) at the line. In addition to scoring 56 points, the senior forward pulled down 20 rebounds (10 rpg), dished out 6 assists, had 5 steals and 3 blocks. She had a double-double (28 points, 13 rebounds) in the win over No. 11 The Master's and was 10-for-14 from the field in only 16 minutes of play against Arizona Christian. Canitez now leads the NAIA in scoring (21.54 ppg), field goal percentage (.568) and rebounding (11.92 rpg).

      • Adijat Adams led Biola with 48 points and 26 rebounds as the Eagles split a pair of GSAC games to close out the regular season. For the week, she shot 22-for-36 (.611) from the field and 4-for-5 (.800) at the line. At Arizona Christian, Adams scored 34 points, the most by a Biola player since 2008, and added 16 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal. Adams recorded another double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds in Biola's loss to No. 4 Westmont.

      • Tugce Canitez tallied 27 points, 20 rebounds, and 4 assists as Westmont won its semifinal game of the GSAC Tournament to advance to the championship game at Concordia on May 5. The senior forward moved from eighth to fourth on Westmont's career scoring list. She also notched her third 20-rebound performance and her conference-leading 18th double-double of the season. Canitez is second in the NAIA in scoring (21.63 points per game) and third in rebounding (12.26 rebounds per game). Canitez was named the NAIA Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.
