      • Shelbi Graifman - William Jessup
      • Junior - 5-5 - Pitcher - Antioch, Calif.
      • Shelbi Graifman had a standout weekend pitching two complete games, and coming in to relieve in the second game of the doubleheaders collecting a save to go with her two wins. The junior pitcher continues to dominate the circle for William Jessup getting 21 strikeouts in her 4 appearances, including a weekend-high 10 in the first game against Embry-Riddle.

      • Payton Ross - Vanguard
      • Junior - 5-3 - Center Fielder - Hughson, Calif.
      • Payton Ross was instrumental in Vanguard sweeping all 3 doubleheaders last weekend. The junior center fielder was 11-for-20 (.550) at the plate with a triple and 10 RBI. Ross scored 7 runs and had 3 stolen bases.

      • Freshman - 5-7 - Pitcher - Temple City, Calif.
      • Vanessa Dwyer earned 3 wins for Vanguard last week. The true freshman allowed 7 hits across 19 innings and only 5 runs were scored. She struck out 14 batters in the process. The Lions were 5-1 for the week and winners of 13 of their last 14 outings.

      • Payton Ross - Vanguard
      • Junior - 5-3 - Center Fielder - Hughson, Calif.
      • Payton Ross led Vanguard to a 5-1 week by going 10-for-20 (.500) at the plate, scoring 5 runs of her own, driving in 4, and recording 2 extra base hits. The junior center fielder is third in the conference in batting average and second in runs scored.

      • Courtney Thornhill - Vanguard
      • Freshman - 5-5 - Pitcher - Hughson, Calif.
      • Courtney Thornhill, another one of the freshmen in the Vanguard pitching rotation, had quite a week for herself as she went 3-0 and has moved to 8-2 on the year. She threw complete games in 2 of her outings, giving up 3 runs in 19 innings while striking out 5 batters.
    • Player of the Week
      • Sianna Gomez - Arizona Christian
      • Senior - 5-3 - Catcher - Glendale, Ariz.
      • The Firestorm went 6-1 last week as they played 7 games in 3 days at the Tucson Invitational. Sianna Gomez collected at least 2 hits in every game except 1 as she hit 15-for-26 (.577) with 2 doubles. The senior catcher scored a run in every game and drove in 8 runs, including 4 against Dakota State. Maybe most impressive was the fact Gomez was 10-for-10 stealing bases. Prior to Tucson, she had four steals on the season.

      • Kolbi Tonini - Vanguard
      • Sophomore - 6-1 - Pitcher - Reno, Nev.
      • Kolbi Tonini appeared in 4 of the Lions 8 games last weekend and ended with a 2-0 record in over 20 innings of work. The sophomore pitcher allowed only 2 earned runs on the week and struck out an impressive 8 batters against Embry Riddle.

      • Jocelyn Young - Hope International
      • Sophomore - 5-7 - Left Fielder - Reno, Nev.
      • Jocelyn Young led Hope International at the plate and helped her teammates to a 6-0 week that included 4 wins against ranked teams. Young produced a pair of homers, 2 doubles, and 6 RBI with a slugging percentage of 1.000, an OBP of .579, and an astronomical OPS of 1.579 as Young was able to hit for both average and power during the week. Between her RBIs and runs scored, Young was directly responsible for 10 of the Royals' 56 runs scored during the week.

      • Freshman - 5-7 - Pitcher - Temple City, Calif.
      • Vanessa Dwyer (14-3) was outstanding last week earning 3 wins for Vanguard and allowing only one run in 21 innings of work. The freshman pitcher went the distance in all three of her outings and totaled 15 strikeouts. Dwyer ended the week with a 0.43 ERA and had a .143 batting average against her.

      • Cassie Balswick - Vanguard
      • Freshman - 5-5 - Right Fielder - Turlock, Calif.
      • Cassie Balswick was 6-for-17 (.353) at the plate with a triple and 3 RBI. The freshman right fielder also scored 4 runs as No. 17 Vanguard won 5-out-of-6 games last week, including a doubleheader sweep of No. 14-ranked Simpson.

      • Freshman - 5-5 - Pitcher - Escondido, Calif.
      • Victoria Cervantes had a busy week in the circle for Menlo, which ran its current win streak to a program best 10 games. Cervantes tossed two complete games, had a save and worked 3.2 innings in relief against No. 23 Hope International. The freshman finished with 19.1 innings pitched, just four earned runs and 11 strikeouts to 5 walks.

      • Sarah Reyes - Menlo
      • Sophomore - 5-3 - Third Baseman - Scotts Valley, Calif.
      • Sarah Reyes had a big week at the plate and in the circle for the Oaks as they went 6-0, including a 4-0 mark in GSAC play. Menlo has now won 10 straight games for the first time in program history and Reyes was a big part of that. Reyes, a sophomore, had nine hits over the week including 2 home runs, a triple and a double. She scored 4 times and drove in 10, including 6 in game one of the weekend against St. Katherine. She also had 2 complete-game wins as a pitcher.

      • Kolbi Tonini - Vanguard
      • Sophomore - 6-1 - Pitcher - Reno, Nev.
      • Kolbi Tonini ended the week 2-0 for No. 17 Vanguard coming in for a pair of huge wins against Hope International, both in relief situations. The sophomore pitcher struck out 4 batters and ended with a perfect 0.00 ERA in two very tight games and earned runners on the bases both times. Tonini was a big reason why the Lions were able to clinch the GSAC Championship with 4 games remaining.

      • Britany Heinle - Vanguard
      • Junior - 5-9 - First Baseman - Stockton, Calif.
      • Britany Heinle crushed the ball going 5-for-9 (.556) at the plate, including 3 doubles and a pair of triples as Vanguard won all 4 of its games last week and wrapped up the GSAC Championship with 4 games still remaining. She scored 6 runs on the base paths and totaled 12 bases. The junior first baseman has a 1.333 slugging percentage and a 0.667 on-base percentage, and she was perfect in the field.

      • Senior - 5-10 - Pitcher - Calabasas, Calif.
      • Emily Russell made her first start of the year and earned the win for Vanguard. Over 5 innings, the senior righty allowed just 1 run on 5 hits and struck out 2.
    • Player of the Week
      • Areana Ramos - Biola
      • Sophomore - 5-6 - Outfielder - Ontario, Calif.
      • Areana Ramos led Biola in batting average, slugging percentage and on-base percentage last week in helping the team to two critical series splits, which keep the Eagles in the playoff hunt heading into the final week of the regular season. The sophomore outfielder hit 5-for-11 (.455) at the plate with a double and home run, and tallied 2 runs and 2 RBI. She also recorded 2 more outfield assists in a game against San Diego Christian.

      • Tori Franks - Hope International
      • Junior - 5-7 - Pitcher - Mesa, Ariz.
      • Tori Franks pitched two complete-game shutouts last week and helped Hope International lock in their postseason berth for the GSAC Tournament with a no-hitter against Arizona Christian. Franks needed only 80 pitches to blank the Firestorm and was a single swing away from duplicating the feat the following day with a one-hit shutout against St. Katherine to close the regular season. Franks piled up 15 total strikeouts on the weekend with 10 against the Firebirds of Saint Katherine.

      • Kyla Cisneros - William Jessup
      • Senior - 5-6 - Infielder - Visalia, Calif.
      • Kyla Cisneros was 8-for-14 (.571) at the plate as William Jessup won three out of four GSAC games last week, including a win against GSAC Champion Vanguard. For the week, the senior infielder had 3 doubles, 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. Cisneros was unstoppable on her final day of play on the Warrior diamond against Biola on Saturday going 5-for-5 in game two with 5 RBIs and 6-for-8 overall on the day.
