    • Defensive Player of the Week
      • Jordan Brinkley - Concordia
      • Sophomore - 6-1 - Goalkeeper - Fullerton, Calif.
      • Sophomore goalkeeper Jordan Brinkley has yet to allow a goal this season, earning three individual shutouts in three starts. With the help of his outstanding back line, he has made at least two saves in each contest, and made three against Concordia (OR). His perfect 0.00 goals against average leads the nation. He is sixth in the GSAC at 2.33 saves per game. His individual record matches the team's early season record at 3-0.

      • Connor Gordon - Concordia
      • Freshman - 5-11 - Forward - Huntington Beach, Calif.
      • Freshman forward Connor Gordon got rolling in the Pacific Northwest, with three goals on the trip. He scored twice in the win against Evergreen (WA) and once against Concordia (OR). He opened his Eagle career with an assist against Chapman on Labor Day. He scored seven points on the week and took five shots, with three being on target. He is 25th in the country in goals per game (1) and 41st in points per game (2.33). He leads the GSAC in points per game and goals per game.

      • Michael Kute - Biola
      • Senior - 6-0 - Defender - Cupertino, Calif.
      • Michael Kute is excelling at center-back for Biola, keeping opponents from finding ways to attack in Biola's box. The senior defender helped hold Antelope Valley to just four shots the entire game, and his defense kept Our Lady of the Lake from posting many quality chances, keeping just about half their shots from being shots on goal.

      • Junior - 5-1 - Forward - San Jose, Calif.
      • Stephen Tanquary scored one goal in each game last week as Biola won both of its non-conference match-ups. The junior forward scored game-winning goal against Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) in the 87th minute. He has recorded four goals in the last four games for the Eagles.

      • Sophomore - 6-0 - Goalkeeper - Norwich, England
      • Josh Glover recorded five saves in 170 minutes in goal as Westmont won both of its games last week. The sophomore goalkeeper had 4 saves in the 3-2 win against Marymount California and had a save in the team shutout of GSAC newcomer William Jessup.
    • Offensive Player of the Week
      • Wilton Quintero - Westmont
      • Sophomore - 5-8 - Midfielder - Temple City, Calif.
      • Wilton Quintero tallied two goals and an assist as Westmont won both of its games last week. The sophomore midfielder scored a goal against Marymount California from 28 yards out that bounced underneath the keeper. In the first conference game of the year, he scored on a penalty kick in the second minute against William Jessup, and then recorded an assist as goal-scorer Rodrigo Viaz-Diaz broke for the net. Quintero currently leads the Warriors on the season with three goals.

      • Josh Glover - Westmont
      • Sophomore - 6-0 - Goalkeeper - Norwich, England
      • Josh Glover recorded shutouts in both games last week tallying 12 saves as Westmont defeated San Diego Christian on the road and battled to a scoreless tie against The Master's College. The sophomore goalkeeper faced 23 shots on the week. Glover has a goals-against average of 0.63 this season.
    • Offensive Player of the Week
      • Luis Valdivia - Vanguard
      • Senior - 6-0 - Midfielder/Forward - Oceanside, Calif.
      • Luis Valdivia scored once in each match as Vanguard split its conference games last week. The senior forward score the game-winner in the 105th minute as the Lions upset No. 17 Concordia.

      • Manuel Madrigal - Hope International
      • Freshman - 6-0 - Goalkeeper - Bell Gardens, Calif.
      • Manuel Madrigal made seven saves while only giving up only one goal in 180 minutes of play as Hope International won both of its games last week to improve its conference record to 4-0. The freshman goalkeeper recorded his first collegiate shutout with four saves in the 2-0 win over No. 25 Westmont. Hope International is the lone unbeaten team in GSAC play and stands alone atop the GSAC standings for the first time ever. The win in regulation ended a streak of six straight games and four straight wins that the Royals had played into overtime.

      • Humphrey Mahowa scored five goals last week as The Master's College won both of its conference games and moved to third place in the GSAC standings. The freshman forward scored two goals in the 4-3 win against William Jessup, including the game winner. He then scored a hat trick to account for all of the Mustangs goals in the 3-0 victory over San Diego Christian. Mahowa was chosen as the NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.

      • Jesse Sandoval - Hope International
      • Senior - 5-11 - Defender - Placentia, Calif.
      • Jesse Sandoval led a defensive effort that saw Hope International allow just one goal, a penalty kick, in two road GSAC wins last week. The Royals held Arizona Christian to just two shots on goal which includes the PK and only four shots total. In Hope International's first-ever win at The Master's, the senior defender served up the game winning assist in the 1-0 win over the Mustangs. The goal was scored in the fourth minute of the game and Sandoval and the rest of the Royal defenders made the one goal edge stand up.

      • Junior - 5-10 - Forward - Los Angeles, Calif.
      • Eduardo Zavala recorded the game winning goals in both GSAC victories for Hope International on the road last week. At Arizona Christian, Zavala flicked a header on the run past the Firestorm goalkeeper for the second goal of the match, which the Royals won 4-1. At The Master's, the junior forward volleyed a long cross served from the left side just inside the right post in the fourth minute of the game. The Royals made that early goal stand as they beat the Mustangs for the first time ever on the road. The six Hope International wins in GSAC play (6-0) established a new single-season record in conference play for the Royals.

      • Sophomore - 6-1 - Goalkeeper -
      • After giving up an early goal at Vanguard, Kyle Cunningham blanked the Lions for the remaining 86:58 in a 3-1 win for The Master's College. The sophomore goalkeeper extended his scoreless streak with his career-best fifth shutout of the season in a 2-0 victory over Arizona Christian. Currently, Cunningham paces the GSAC in goals against average (0.74) and save percentage (.857), and is tied for the conference lead in shutouts.

      • Senior - 6-4 - Midfielder - Hesperia, Calif.
      • Brett Croft scored two goals and assisted on another as The Master's College won both of its GSAC games last week. At Vanguard, the senior midfielder tied the score on a penalty kick and then scored the game-winning goal in the 79th minute. Against Arizona Christian, Croft assisted on the insurance goal to win 2-0.

      • Senior - 5-6 - Defender - Fullerton, Calif.
      • As a defender, Zach Williams played all 180 minutes as Hope International split its games last week. He gave a great effort in Hope International's first conference loss of the season at Concordia. Against Arizona Christian, the senior defender dished out two assists to solidify the 3-0 shutout. The win secured the first-ever GSAC Championship for Hope International in any sport.

      • Connor Gordon was key in two big wins for Concordia as they secured second place in the GSAC this season. He dished the assist on the opening goal against No. 22 Hope International as Eagles gave the Royals their first conference loss. The freshman forward also scored the first goal against The Master's College just two minutes into the match on the road. In the GSAC, Gordon is third in points per game (1.47), third in goals per game (.60), and 10th in assists per game (.27).

      • Brandon Gomez won two games on the road last week to secure the No. 3 seed for Vanguard in the upcoming GSAC Tournament. The freshman goalkeeper stopped seven shots on goal in 180 minutes of play.

      • Jesus Fregoso scored both goals as Vanguard upset GSAC Champion Hope International, 2-1. The junior forward then assisted on the game-winner at Arizona Christian as Vanguard clinched the No. 3 seed in the upcoming GSAC Tournament.

      • Vanguard's freshman goalkeeper posted two GSAC victories last week, upsetting second-seeded Concordia on the road 2-1 to give the third-seeded Lions the right to host the 2014 GSAC Men's Soccer Tournament Championship. Brandon Gomez notched eight saves against the Concordia Eagles in 90 minutes, while allowing a single goal on the week. He posted a shutout on Wednesday against Biola, where he recorded an additional four saves for his squad. Vanguard has won five-straight (including three upsets) all credited to Gomez in goal. Gomez was selected as the NAIA Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

      • Freshman Humphrey Mahowa scored 3 of 4 goals for The Master's College in the GSAC Men's Soccer Tournament last week. The Master's, the No. 5 seed of the tournament, upset No. 4 Westmont in the first round 2-1 and No. 1 Hope International 2-0 in the semifinals to advance to the conference tournament championship.
