Hope International defeated The Master's College 64-59 to win the GSAC Women's Basketball Tournament Championship, the first GSAC tournament championship in school history.

Hope International has earned the GSAC's automatic bid to the NAIA Div. I Women's Basketball National Championship which will be held at the Frankfort Convention Center in Frankfort, Kentucky, March 19-25.  The Royals' Andrina Rendon recorded her 20th double-double of the season with 22 points and 20 rebounds. 

The Master's was led by Jacquelyn Marshall (right) with her 18th double-double of the season with 19 points and 13 rebounds.  The Mustangs, along with Vanguard and Westmont, await the announcement of at-large berths tomorrow.   The championship tournament pairings will be announced via a live, free video show at www.naia.org tomorrow at 5:00 pm PST.   The link will be active 15 minutes prior to the start.
