Odd-numbered seeds No. 1 Vanguard, No.3 Hope International, No. 5 Westmont and No. 7 The Masters won their first round games to advance to the GSAC Men's Basketball Tournament Semifinals on Saturday, March 8 at 7:30 pm.

Top-seeded Vanguard, led by a game-high 22 points from DeAngelo Jones, defeated San Diego Christian, 80-71.  Matt Green and Garrett Neilan each scored 20 points to lead Hope International to a 73-65 victory over defending GSAC Tournament Champion Concordia.  With 23 points, Derrick Fain led No. 7-seed The Master's to an upset win over No. 2-seed Arizona Christian, 80-77 in double-overtime.  No. 5-seed Westmont also won in a closely contested game at No. 4 Biola, 70-66.

Westmont will travel to Vanguard and The Master's will visit Hope International in the semifinals that will take place Saturday, March 8 at 7:30 pm.
