Concordia University honored the 2012 NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship team on October 9, between the second and third games of Concordia's volleyball win against Cal State San Marcos with their championship rings ceremony.

The Eagles went 31-7 last season, claiming their second national championship in program history, and fifth GSAC Championship in six years.  They traveled to Kansas City, Mo., winning five games in six days to conquer basketball's "Toughest Tournament", capped by a thrilling 72-69 win over Oklahoma Baptist on March 20 inside historic Municipal Auditorium.

Senior Cameron Gliddon was named Tournament MVP, NAIA All-American, All-Tournament, GSAC Player of the Year, and All-GSAC.  Senior Austin Simon was named an NAIA All-American, All-Tournament, and All-GSAC.  Senior Tommy Granado was named All-Tournament.

On Tuesday night Concordia honored the players, coaches, and support staff from last year's unbelievable run.
