The No. 12 Concordia Eagles moved to 2-0 in the Red Lion Classic in Scottsdale, AZ on Friday afternoon, December 20, as they beat the University of Alberta 85-70.

Tim Harris led Concordia with 21 points, going three-of-six from the line and eight-of-15 from the field.  Montreal Harris added 17 going five-of-eight from the field and two-of-three from deep.  Lucas Simpson had 10 points as well.  M. Harris and Stephen Grosey led Concordia with five boards each.  Concordia shot 46% from the field, but Alberta shot 54%.  Concordia forced 31 turnovers resulting in 19 steals.  The turnovers led to five more field goals for Concordia, the difference in this one.

The Eagles will wrap up the tournament tomorrow at 12 pm against Great Falls.
