A total of 10 GSAC teams from the fall sports of women's volleyball, men's soccer and women's soccer will be participating in the NAIA National Championships, beginning this Saturday, November 23. Five volleyball teams, four women's soccer teams and one men's soccer team from the conference have qualified and are listed below for each sport.
The pairings for the Opening Rounds were released on Monday for all sports. In women's volleyball, three GSAC teams received byes in the first round and will make plans for Sioux City, Iowa. Concordia is the number two seed in the draw, Biola is the number three seed and Vanguard is the ninth seed. Two other GSAC teams will host matches this Saturday as The Master's hosts Cal State San Marcos and Westmont will host Menlo College, the champion from the Cal Pac.
In women's soccer, four teams reached the postseason and all four teams will host opening round matches. Westmont received the number two seed in the 32-team field and will host Westminster this weekend. Vanguard is the sixth seed and will host Columbia on their new turf field on Saturday. Concordia, the GSAC regular season and tournament champion, received the eighth seed and will host John Brown University on a neutral site field at Biola. The Master's was the fourth league team to receive an at-large berth and will host Cal State San Marcos.
In men's soccer, Concordia was the lone team to reach the 32-team field, winning the GSAC Tournament title this past Saturday. The Eagles will be the designated home team at Biola this weekend and host Corban University.
