The Master's College men's cross country are the GSAC Champions for the fourth consecutive year and the Biola women earned their second straight conference championship, and third in four years.
In the men's 8K race, senior Joshua Gomez was first to cross the finish line with a time of 25:14.68. The Biola women were led by individual champion, sophomore Kellian Hunt, with a time of 17:27.15, followed by less than two seconds by teammate junior Carrie Soholt in the women's 5K race. The coaches of the winning teams were selected as the GSAC Men's and Women's Coaches of the Year: Zach Schroeder of The Master's College and Jonathan Zimmerman of Biola, respectively.
The Mustangs won the men's team competition with four runners in the top ten with a score of 41. Competing in only its second GSAC Cross Country Championship Arizona Christian finished in second place with 74 points. Finishing very closely were Biola in third with 88 points, Vanguard in fourth with 91, and Westmont fifth with 92.
The Eagles of Biola narrowly won the women's team competition with 33 points, followed by only four points by the second-place Mustangs with 37 points. Both teams had four of the top ten runners.
The top 14 runners in each race receive GSAC All-Conference honors presented by Under Armour.
