All eight GSAC men's and women's cross country teams participated in the NAIA West Coast Jamboree hosted by Biola at Irvine Regional Park in Orange, Calif. A total of seven nationally-ranked teams competed in the event.
Sophomore Karis Frankian of The Master's crossed the finish line first in the women's 5,000 kilometer race with a time of 17:48.02, followed closely by Biola sophomore Kellian Hunt with a time of 17:50.02. No. 4-ranked Biola had five of the top 11 runners to earn first place as a team with No. 7 The Master's in second, both ahead of No. 3-ranked Cal State San Marcos. No. 14 Westmont finished fourth and Concordia was fifth out of 16 total teams
In the men's 8K race, Vanguard junior Josh Espinoza was the top GSAC finisher with a second place time of 25.23.4. The Master's, ranked No. 17, finished in second behind No. 10 Cal State San Marcos. No. 23 Biola was third and Vanguard fourth in the men's field of 14 teams.
