Concordia defeated Simpson, 3-0, to earn the GSAC-Cal Pac Softball Tournament Championship.  Katie Cotta pitched her NAIA-record ninth no-hitter of the year and was a walk away from a perfect game.

All of the Eagles' scoring came on back-to-back solo home runs by Emily Craig and Annette Merjano and an RBI single by Caitrin DeBaun in the fourth inning.  Concordia earns the automatic bid to the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening for the unaffiliated conference group of the GSAC and Cal Pac. Simpson will wait to see if they receive an at-large berth to nationals.

The Eagles will host one of ten four-team double elimination opening rounds, May 13-15.  The winners of these opening rounds advance to the final site 10-team tournament at South Commons Softball Complex in Columbus, Georgia, May 24-30.
