All nine schools of the Golden State Athletic Conference have scored in the 2016-17 Learfield Director's Cup Standings for the NAIA.  Westmont was the top finisher from the GSAC with 631.25 points for 8th place.  All of the GSAC schools were in the top 140 of a total of 199 schools that earned points.  

Points are given to teams based on their finish in postseason competition.  Schools can score points in a maximum of 12 sports (6 men and 6 women).  The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
