The Golden State Athletic Conference All-Conference men's and women's tennis teams presented by Under Armour have been announced. Both men and women's teams were voted on by the GSAC coaches. The top nine point getters made All-Conference and Player of the Year awards were swept by San Diego Christian.


Leonardo Urquidi, a senior from San Diego Christian, was voted Player of the Year by the coaches. Urquidi only lost four singles matches in conference play. The senior from Bolivia played at No. 1 singles all season.

Coach of the Year goes to Mark Basham from Westmont College. The Warriors were the number two overall seed in the GSAC tournament and brought home the championship beating Arizona Christian 5-4 in a highly competitive match. The Warriors from Santa Barbara will automatically qualify for the NAIA National Tournament in Mobile, Alabama.

Brittany Augustine, a junior from San Diego Christian, was voted Player of the Year by the coaches. Augustine has the Hawks ranked 6th in the nation and looks to have a shot at competing for the national title. Augustine was phenominal all season having never lost a set in GSAC play. The senior from Carson, CA led the Hawks to a GSAC Regular Season Championship as well as a Tournament Championship. Augustine only dropped a total of three games in six sets play in the GSAC tournament.

Coach of the Year goes to Priscilla Jensen from San Diego Christian. The Hawks only allowed opponents to win one point in the GSAC Tournament. Jensen will now take the Hawks for the first time in program history to Nationals as they are the automatic qualifier from the GSAC. San Diego Christian looks to make a deep run in the NAIA Championship Tournament which take place the same time as the men's tournament at the Mobile Tennis Center.
