INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – The Lewis-Clark State (ID) men's tennis team earned its second win of the season.  This win was exponentially greater than earlier in the season as the Warriors defeated No. 4 seeded Biola 5-2 in the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinals.

With the win, the defending GSAC Tournament champions advance to the semifinals and will take on No. 1 seeded Arizona Christian Wednesday at 9 a.m.

The match didn't start off well for the Warriors. The Eagles claimed two of the three doubles matches to take a 2-1 lead heading into singles play. The tournament format only requires a team to reach five points and the match is settled.

Jeff Su and Ignacio Salom were the victors in the doubles match winning 9-7 at No. 1 Doubles.

Su made quick work of Lucas Lee in No. 1 Singles winning 6-2 as the match was tied 2-2. Salom followed with an 8-6, 6-2 win at No. 2 Singles. A pair of 3-set matches settled the rest and helped the Warriors clinch. Daniel de Lorenzo defeated his No. 6 Singles counterpart 0-6, 6-5, 7-5 while Yonas Woldetsadik gave the Warriors the win with a 2-6, 6-1, 7-5 match at No. 3 Singles.
