The Vanguard women's basketball team punched its ticket to the Fab Four of the NAIA Div. I Women's Basketball National Championship with a dominating 71-34 win against No. 8-seed William Woods (Mo.).  The Liston Bracket No. 2-seed Lions (30-3) will now play against Duer Bracket No. 1-seed Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) at Rimrock Auto Arena at Metra Park in Billings, Montana on Monday at 7:00 pm (PDT).  

Previously the Lions beat Lindenwood-Belleville (IL) 66-59 in their first game and then Montana State-Northern 71-65 in the next round to move on to the quarterfinal round.  The Pride is first in scoring margin (+16.7), third in rebound margin (+9), and fifth in field goal percentage (.446)  for the tournament so far.   Lewis-Clark State (34-1), which is ranked No. 2 overall in the nation, defeated Westmont 72-67 to earn its spot in the Fab Four.  The Warriors are second in scoring margin (+10) and 10th in field goal percentage (.417) in the tournament after three games.
