The Vanguard University men's tennis team and the Westmont College women's tennis team have clinched the top seeds in the GSAC Tennis Tournament to be played in a few weeks.

Vanguard's men's team defeated Westmont, 6-3, this past Saturday, to improve its league mark to 8-0.  The Lions hold a two-match lead over second place Westmont, but hold the tiebreaker over the Warriors.

Westmont's women's team defeated Vanguard, 5-4, this past Saturday, to improve to 8-0 in league matches as well.  The Warriors lead the conference standings by two matches, holding the tiebreaker over Concordia.

The GSAC Tennis Championships will be held April 10-12 at Indian Wells Tennis Garden.  Indian Wells is the host site for the BNP Paribas Open, one of the main stops on the ATP World Tour.  The BNP Paribas Open just completed this past weekend with Rafael Nadal taking home the men's title and Maria Sharapova winning the women's crown.
