Phoenix, AZ- Immediate changes are on the horizon for Arizona Christian Track & Field and Cross Country.  With the recent resignation of Kyle Marshall as the head coach of cross country, Ted Campbell has been named the Director of ACU Track & Field and Cross Country.

Coach Campbell was hired at Arizona Christian as the head man for track back in September.  With his new director role, Campbell will be in charge of the overall development for all four track and field and cross country teams.

Assistant Athletic Director Peter Dryer stated, "We are excited for Coach Campbell to be in this role.  He is great with our student-athletes and his philosophy of coaching lines up well with the mission of the university.  By guiding both teams, we will see consistency in both programs that will be important as the teams grow."

Focusing on his new responsibilities, Coach Campbell commented, "As the Director of Track & Field and Cross Country, I will be able to administer the overall philosophy, athletic, and recruiting standards.  I know what we want in our athletes, so there can be a consistent and constant teaching of standards and the expectations for everyone on the team.  I look at the successful teams on the west coast and in our conference.  I will strive to follow their models of success."

ACU Athletics would like to thank Coach Marshall for his two seasons of running the cross country teams.  Marshall stepped down as the lead of the programs he ran for as a college athlete to focus on his full time job and family.

Under the guidance of Coach Campbell, the future is bright for Arizona Christian Track & Field and Cross Country.
