Several GSAC athletes from men's and women's basketball have received postseason awards from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, including the prestigious NAIA All-America honors.

A total of six GSAC women's basketball athletes and four GSAC men's basketball athletes were honored as first, second, and third team recipients to the 2015-16 NAIA All-American Team. Another two women and six men basketball players from the GSAC received honorable mention, as chosen by the NAIA Men's and Women's Basketball All-America Selection Committees.

WOMEN

GSAC Player of the Year senior guard, Krissy Karr, led the way all season for the No. 2 Warriors. She earns 1st team All-American honors. Melissa Norman from Vanguard also received 1st team honors. The senior center was number one in the nation in rebounds per game (12) and 13th in the nation in blocks per game.

MEN

Dakari Archer, GSAC Player of the Year, was named a 1st team All-American. The junior guard average 16.5 PPG, 4.7 RPG, and 2 APG for the Eagles. The Eagles were a tough out all season losing just four games.
