KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced that 1,290 athletic programs have been named 2013-14 NAIA Scholar-Teams. The GSAC had 53 teams representing seven teams that earned this honor.

Biola led the GSAC and the NAIA with 19 programs honored.  The Biola women's cross country squad with a team average 3.81 grade point average, finished tied for fourth place for the highest team GPA in the nation.

For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade-point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
