Junior ~ RHP ~ Etiwanda, California
Leslie Ludlow recorded a perfect ERA as she pitched 2 complete games to earn 2 wins last week. In 11 innings of play, she gave up 2 hits, 2 walks and no runs while striking out 4 batters. Point Loma Nazarene won the Redlands Tournament outscoring their opponents 68-0 in 5 games. In the 8-0 win at Redlands, Ludlow gave up 1 hit and 1 walk, while striking out 4. She again gave up only 1 hit and 1 walk in the 11-0 victory over Mary Hardin-Baylor TX. Ludlow also hit 2 home runs. She had a 2-run shot in an earlier game against Mary Hardin-Baylor and a 3-run blast in the title game, which was also against Mary Hardin-Baylor. Ludlow was also selected as the NAIA Region II Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Junior ~ Shortstop ~ Riverside, California
Irene Garcia was 11-for-31 (.355) at the plate as Cal Baptist won 7 of 9 games last week. She recorded 9 runs, 6 doubles, 1 home run, 3 RBI and 2 stolen bases. Her home run was the first of the season for the Lancers. She was 8-for-11 in 3 victories in 1 day at the Sun West Tournament. Cal Baptist also swept No. 22-ranked Montreat NC during the week. Garcia was named as the NAIA Region II Softball Player of the Week.

Junior ~ RHP ~ Lancaster, California
Marciea Ball earned 2 wins on the road last week over No. 17-ranked Azusa Pacific and No. 4 Point Loma Nazarene, both in 8 innings. In 15.2 innings, Ball did not give up an earned run as she scattered 17 hits, while striking out 10 and only walking 2. She gave up only 1 extra-base hit as she won her ninth and tenth games of the season. Ball was chosen as the NAIA Region II Softball Pitcher of the Week.

JENNIE WALESZONIA ~ Azusa Pacific University
Junior ~ Shortstop ~ Fontana, California
As Azusa Pacific pushed its winning streak to 6 straight, Jennie Waleszonia batted .583 (7-for-12) in 4 games last week and produced the game-winning RBI in the Cougars' victories over Cal Baptist (sacrifice fly) and St. Thomas (2-out home run in the seventh inning). In all, she had 6 RBIs, 2 home runs, a triple and 3 runs scored. Waleszonia was selected as the NAIA Region II Softball Player of the Week.

Senior ~ RHP ~ Tehachapi, California
Though she was 1-1 on the week, Gina Liebengood did not give up an earned run in 8 innings of work. She did fire a 2-hit shutout at the NAIA's No. 10-ranked Concordia in the Lions' 1-0 victory. For Liebengood, it was her 64th career win at Vanguard, her 34th by way of shuout. In all, she surrendered just 4 hits while striking 7 and walking 1. Liebengood was named the NAIA Region II Softball Pitcher of the Week.

LORNA LYTTLE ~ Azusa Pacific University
Senior ~ Outfielder ~ Palm Desert, California
Lorna Lyttle was 3-for-4 at the plate as Azusa Pacific swept The Master's in its only doubleheader last week. In the first game she had a run-scoring triple and scored the game-tying run. In the second game, Lyttle had an RBI single to score the game's only run. She also stole a base in each game, her first steals of the season. Azusa Pacific now has an 8-game winning streak. Lyttle was selected as the NAIA Region II Softball Player of the Week.

Senior ~ RHP ~ Rocklin, California
Jessica Logsdon pitched 10 innings of 2-hit softball to earn the win for No. 12-ranked Biola over No. 20-ranked Vanguard. She gave up only 1 unearned run and 1 walk while striking out 7. For the season Logsdon is 19-4 and has struck out 43 while walking only 9.

Crystal Roberts was 11-for-19 (.579) at the plate as No. 9-ranked Biola won
all 6 of its games last week. Roberts recorded at least one hit in each game
with 2 doubles, 5 runs scored, 4 RBI and 1 stolen base. Roberts was chosen as the NAIA Region II Softball Player of the Week.

GINA LIEBENGOOD ~ Vanguard University

Gina Liebengood collected 3 of No. 20-ranked Vanguard's 6 wins last week
including 2 complete-game shutouts against GSAC opponents. In 22 innings of work, Liebengood struck out 20 while giving up 1 earned run, 13 hits and 1 walk. She recorded her 12th shutout and her 206th strikeout of the season, breaking personal bests set last season. Liebengood also contributed 5 hits and 5 RBI to the Vanguard offensive attack, hitting .455 at the plate, which included 2 doubles. Liebengood was selected as the NAIA Region II Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Sophomore ~ OF ~ Corona, California
Chari Erambert hit 2 3-run home runs last week to bring her season total to 7, as The Master's won 3 of 4 games. She was 5-for-11 (.455) at the plate with 4 runs, a double, 2 home runs and 7 RBI. In the second win against Hope International, she hit a double and her first 3-run homer. She was the difference in the win over No. 14-ranked Concordia, hammering her second home run of the week.

Junior ~ RHP ~ Wassenarr, Netherlands
Miranda Van der Voort earned 2 wins against nationally ranked teams last week. No. 3-ranked Point Loma Nazarene has now won 17 out of its past 18 games. For the week, Van der Voort faced 42 batters in 12 innings of work giving up only 6 hits, 1 walk and 1 earned run for a 0.58 earned run average, while striking out 3. In a complete game win over No. 14 Concordia, she allowed only 3 hits and no runs. In 2 appearances vs. No. 10 Biola, she allowed just 1 run and 3 hits in 5 innings of work, picking up the win in the 5-4 decision. Van der Voort was selected as the NAIA Region II Softball Pitcher of the Week.

Martha Serrato was 8-for-15 (.533) at the plate with 7 runs, 2 doubles, 1 home run and 7 RBI as No. 3-ranked Point Loma Nazarene won 3-of-4 games on the road last week. In the win at Vanguard, she hit a double, had 3 RBI and scored 3 runs. In the doubleheader shutout sweep of Chapman, Serrato recorded 4 hits, 4 runs, a double, a home run and 4 RBI. Serrato was chosen as the NAIA Region II Softball Player of the Week.
