POWAY, Calif. – In the second game of a six-game road trip to Southern California, Menlo College Baseball continued to show no signs of wear and tear. Not having a home field so far in 2017 would prove to be a struggle for most teams, but not this one. 17 hits were recorded on the evening, including 11 hits of the extra base variety, and Menlo smashed St. Katherine College 15-4 in the first of a rare five-game series. With the win, this year's Oaks team became the first in program history to win 11-straight games, surpassing the record of 10 set in 2013. Menlo is now 11-1 on the year while St. Katherine is 7-7.
