Fullerton, CA - Just when Hope International thought they were going to celebrate, Biola had a chance to celebrate before Hope International earned the final celebration with a 3-2 overtime win on Saturday.  Clinging to a 2-1 lead, Hope International saw Biola score with about five seconds to play in regulation, but the Royals countered with the game winner in overtime.  Freshman Raul Pinon scored two goals on the day including the game winner.

Luis Valdivia scored once in each match as Vanguard split its conference games last week. The senior forward score the game-winner in the 105th minute as the Lions upset No. 17 Concordia.

Jazmin Alvarez allowed only one goal and made 20 saves in 200 minutes in goal as No. 7 Concordia was unbeaten against two top-15 opponents last week. The sophomore goalkeeper faced 35 shots in the 1-1 tie with No. 15 The Master's College and in the Eagles' first win at No. 10 Vanguard since 2010. Alvarez shined against Vanguard, making nine saves and shutout the Lions for the first time this season in her second individual shutout.

Josh Glover recorded shutouts in both games last week tallying 12 saves as Westmont defeated San Diego Christian on the road and battled to a scoreless tie against The Master's College. The sophomore goalkeeper faced 23 shots on the week. Glover has a goals-against average of 0.63 this season.

Lauren Hoenecke, playing as the second middle, recorded 19 kills on just 32 attacks for a .531 kill percentage as No. 5-ranked Biola won both of its GSAC matches on the road last week. She added to that nine blocks (two solo) in limited time in the rotation. In Biola's sweep of Arizona Christian, she did not have any errors and hit over .600.
